Sydney’s Sweet Lab was born from passion, perseverance, and a reminder that everything goes down smoother with a spoonful of sugar.

Baking has been part of Sydney’s life for as long as she can remember. Her earliest memories are of the kitchen: sweet smells, rock music, and countertops covered in beautiful treats made for survival. By age eight she was honing her kitchen skills to keep the lights on. What started as a necessity slowly became passion.

Raised by a mother who was as magical in the kitchen as she was troubled in life, Sydney inherited three gifts: a love for music, a talent for cooking, and a spirit for experimentation. From fondant-covered “Eat Me” cakes to strange and wonderful muffin-cookie hybrids called “mookies,” her childhood was filled with odd, enchanting creations—and the quiet hope that maybe one day, she’d bake something that could change everything.

Now 22, Sydney’s small kitchen is all about chasing big dreams. She’s a baker, a writer, a singer, and a quantum physics nerd who believes that baking is just as much science as it is love.

Sydney’s Sweet Lab is where all of that collides—creativity, science, sugar, survival, and soul. It’s not a fairy tale. It’s a work in progress. But every treat has a backstory here. And every bite is personal.
